Cosy Corner, Porthcawl – Redeveloped & Now Open

ESP are very pleased to have been involved in the project at Cosy Corner where Porthcawl’s seafront has now been redeveloped for the public to enjoy. The site now offers places to eat, changing facilities for the nearby marina, space for outdoor events and more is yet to come with the plan for a children’s play area.

Surveys on the site found asbestos and according to Wales Online, “Bridgend County Borough Council had to approve an additional £265,000 for the 2,000 tonnes of new soil brought to the site to replace the material that was unsuitable because of potential asbestos contamination.”
