Earth Science Week is back from this Sunday (13th) until the 19th October, with this year’s theme celebrating “Earth Science Everywhere”. The theme encourages people to see how geoscience can link to their own interests. There will be public events taking place across the UK throughout the week including a Family Fun Day at The Geological Society, Workshops and Webinars, Quarry Tours, Art Exhibitions and Geo Walks. Organisations and individuals can hold an event for Earth Science Week by getting in touch with The Geological Society and they will add it to their calendar above. There is opportunity for a small number of grants up to £250 to assist with the running of the events. Find out more here.
