Earth Science Partnership – Geological Society Award Winner
In May 2008, the Southern Wales Regional Group of the Geological Society invited applicants for their inaugural Early Career Geologists Award, for which entrants were required to submit a synopsis of geological context.
Late in October 2008, following presentation of the topic at a lecture at Cardiff University, Matthew Eynon was presented the award based on strength of content and presentation of the paper to a peer group.
The award was judged and presented by the current chairman of the Southern Wales Regional Group, Paul Maliphant.
Matthew is an Associate Director at ESP, responsible for managing a number of technical teams and other operational activities, including work on the >£400 million redevelopment of Reading Train Station, in association with Hochtief (UK) Construction and Network Rail.
