A Walk Past Blaencwm Landslide

Our Mat Elcock recently took his family for a weekend walk up past Blaencwm Landslide; a really peaceful spot with some great views for those who enjoy walking.

Blaencwm is located at the northern end of the Rhondda Valley in South Wales and the landslide is relatively large and complex with ongoing movement.  The landslide has a graben feature, which on the surface measures 1m to 4m in height, 300m in length and runs parallel to the crest of the slope.
