We are pleased to announce that our Giles Sommerwill is now registered and approved as a Qualified Person under the Cl:aire Development Industry Code of Practice (DoWCoP). 
The Code of Practice sets out good practice for the development industry to use when assessing whether excavated materials are classified as waste or not. It also allows the determination, on a site specific basis, when treated excavated waste can cease to be waste for a particular use.
ESP are now able to submit declarations for Material Management Plans operating within the DoWCoP framework, which are more sustainable, economic, and quicker, than traditional waste handling routes using licensing/permitting.
