ESP’s Mat Elcock, Senior Engineering Geologist (and keen golfer!) is attending the CF Warriors Charity Golf Day today, along with players from Rawlins & Madley. The event takes place at Cardiff Golf Club and the players look set to battle the elements with today’s forecast.
The CF Warriors charity was founded by Josh Llewellyn-Jones, who suffers from the disease, for which there is no cure. The fantastic charity supports children who have Cystic Fibrosis and their families by bringing a little hope and sunshine to their lives through encouraging them to partake in any forms of exercise to make them feel better in themselves and experience a sense of achievement.
In October Josh takes on an incredible 5 day challenge where he will swim the English Channel, then cycle 200 miles, before running all the way from Twickenham back to Cardiff!
