ESP’s Mat Elcock, Senior Engineering Geologist, is hosting a team at the Pobl Trust Charity Golf Tournament today. The event is taking place at the picturesque Langland Bay Golf Club in Mumbles, Swansea, in what looks set to be perfect playing conditions.
Pobl Trust is a registered charity within the Pobl Group that aims to improve quality of life for people and communities in areas in which the group works; Wales and the South West. The charity, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, consider applications for funding from individuals, community groups and organisations. These can be for smaller initiatives up to £5,000 or more significant projects up to £50,000. This year the charity will be helping applicants for funding within a variety of key areas:
- Housing and Homelessness
- Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
- Building Stronger Communities
