This year’s iconic Cardiff University/Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on 6th October. ESP’s Administration Co-ordinator, Amanda Good, will be taking part to raise money for NSPCC.
The event has grown into the UK’s second largest half marathon and Wales’ largest road race and multi-charity fundraising event. The first run took place back in 2003 and now sees over 20,000 runners take part. Last year over £3 million was raised in sponsorship for over 800 different charities.
The 13.1 mile route takes runners past the capital’s most iconic landmarks with beautiful scenery and historic buildings.
