ESP’s chosen Christmas Charity, St David’s Hospice Care, is very close to our hearts here at ESP. The events of this year have had such a huge impact on the resources available to such vital charities and we feel that supporting such worthy causes has never been more important.
St David’s Hospice Care, based in South Wales, provides end of life care to individuals and support for their families. They strive to offer the very best clinical care, to make patients and their families as comfortable as possible during their stay and to offer support, guidance and compassion when people’s needs are greatest. They provide a Hospice at Home service, specialist support for children with an adult loved one receiving hospice care, complementary therapies and education and training. Despite the challenges of this year, St David’s Hospice Care and it’s wonderful team have continued to provide their much needed services to those facing incredibly difficult times.
The St David’s Hospice Care team said ”Thank you so very much for your support, which is greatly appreciated. Thanks to donations such as yours, last year we cared for 2,786 patients and their families, providing patients with real choice about where they spend their final days.”
