Earth Science Partnership

PFA and the Circular Economy

Our Matt Eynon recently penned a Soapbox article for Geoscientist, the fellows publication from the Geological Society of London.

The topic of the article focusses on the impact the downturn in coal-fired power generation and therefore potentially serious consequences for mine-works stabilisation.

As a result, this will become a major issue for Applied and Engineering Geology applications and land development in the UK.

You can download and read the article here: http://www.geolsoc.org.uk/Geoscientist/August-2016/PFA-and-the-circular-economy

We’re involved in specifiying, designing and implementing mine works stabilisation/grouting works across the country. So, get in touch with Matt for more information on our capabilities.
