The State of Contaminated Land in Wales April 2016

Following on from their recent appointment as Environmental Body for Wales and in accordance with Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, Natural Resources Wales has produced the first ‘Wales only’ report on the state of contaminated land.

The report presents a number of key facts and figures collected from Natural Resources Wales and local authorities across Wales on the contaminated land sector activity.

It also includes information on statutory duties carried out under Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (the contaminated land regime) since its implementation in Wales on 1st July 2001 until 31st December 2013. View the full report here.
