WAYFARERS v MORLAIS CASTLE, APRIL 2012
In their first game of the season the Wayfarers team travelled to the south rim of the Brecon Beacons to play Morlais Castle. The new youth policy and pre-season training regime paid dividends with four players making their debuts.
In difficult waterlogged conditions the resilient team adapted quickly to the undulating terrain and gained an overwhelming victory of 3.5 to 1.5 points.
As well as displaying such elegant golf form the team were resplendent in their new cirrus pink team shirts, kindly sponsored by Earth Science Partnership.
